Today was Adam's 9th Birthday. We took out for his birthday on Saturday. He wanted to go bowling and then we went out for Chinese. We came back home and had a special "Birthday cake". Adam decided he wanted Monkey Bread for his Birthday cake. It was very yummy. I forgot to get Birthday candles so we put a tea light candle in the middle of the Monkey Bread.
Today he had to go to school and then I took him
shopping to spend his Birthday money. Guess what he got. Legos of course. Maybe one day he might have too many Legos, but today is not the day. I made him his Birthday dinner which was Mini Cheeseburgers and Onion rings. They turned out really yummy.
Then we had him find his Birthday present from us. He got a real bow and arrows. He's been playing with a toy set that Clif had when he was little. Adam really wanted a real set and now he's got one. He has a really good eye for target shooting and started getting the hang of it. It started getting dark so he couldn't shoot for very long.
Over all this turned out to be a good Birthday for him. Adam is such a joy to us. We are so thankful to God for sending him to us. God teaches us so much through Adam. We enjoy watching him grow and change. He is so special and we look forward to what the next year brings.

I can't believe how old he looks. Maybe it's the glasses :) It looks like he had a great birthday. That monkey bread looked really yummy. I need to learn how to make it!
Happy Birthday Adam! I didn't know you got glasses. You look so smart in them. But we already knew you were:)
oh my ... Happy Birthday Adam! You are such a cutie. Love the glasses and I agree that monkey bread makes a great birthday "cake". He's getting so big.
