Our First Snow of the Year

We had our first snow of the year last Friday (the 21st). We were pleasantly surprised when we woke up. The forecast wasn't calling for snow in our area. It was so pretty and it wasn't too much. The roads weren't covered at all. But it made the landscape very pretty.

Adam has a tradition every first snow of the year. He takes off his shoes and socks and he runs barefoot in the snow. I've posted pictures of the event:) It wasn't long before he ran back inside and then the shoes and socks went on so that he could go play and make snowballs.
